Literature Text
She is
electrolytes shivering
off winter blue satellites orbiting
on ruptures in his arteries and wisteria
drenching his senses [clawing] dirt neath her
nails, trembling skeletal structures as
the stars scream in [unbalance]
churning mythology and
basking in meteor
showers
Literature
Moonrain reverie.
I.
March days return with their covert light --
in the wave-strike over unquiet stones,
there, where the waves shatter,
you are the daughter of the sea;
but I like you calm, as if you were absent,
so that you will hear me.
II.
I hunt for a sign of you:
I crave your mouth, your voice, your hair --
perhaps not to be is to be without your being.
Tie your heart at night to mine, love,
rest with your dream inside my dream;
and because love battles,
maybe you'll remember that
the tree is here, still, in pure stone.
III.
Tonight I can write the saddest lines:
"I remember you as you were,
in my sky at twilight" --
here, I love you.
Literature
intricately ordinary
I am the wayward child,
subliminal and defeathered—
almost perfect.
What's that in your heart?
Myths and the things that really matter
like wallflower clippings,
unfiltered and restless.
Don't forget to let me go;
the keepers of my heart
are undedicated,
sleeping behind the wheel.
Literature
Our Yellow Room
We used to talk of everything that needed to be said
when we sat under the canopy of gold rays
gorgeous declarations of adventures to be were spilt.
We were going to get married under gold lilies
and speak of vows that we wrote for each other
while friends and family loved us together.
But when I wake in the morning because I can’t sleep anymore
the bed is cold underneath me while the lights are off
my fingers reach for a being that isn’t there with me.
The bed sheets are amber like the necklace you got me
the bedroom painted in a fit of creativity that was never finished
the wonderful color usually bouncing but now it is dusty
