Oh my! When I look at this picture, I feel a sense of calm. Perhaps because it does, as the title suggests, feel so truthful and transparent, as if it's baring itself for inspection. Dang... this calls to my wall :giggle:. I love things that can calm my heart. Anyway, back to this picture! I really loved the movement created by the flowers in the background and the fact that they were blurred. It just adds so much extra to this piece... an extra "umph!" Maybe I'm really big on movement, because I feel like movement can keep you held captive in a photograph.
The colors are great and expressive. This reminds me of spring and of smiles... it reminds me, personally, of the splendors of life... how nature holds so much beauty and strength when we lose sight of ourselves and the worth of the world. I always liked photography because it could portray a photographer's view--their perspective! I always wonder how other people see the world, and so I think I especially love photography because I can see exactly what they saw! I wish I could capture moments as well as you, for they are truly beautiful! They steal my breath. Maybe it's weird to say... but I feel like I do see you in these photographs. Such purity and serenity, matched within a journey/decision to uphold best attempts and smiles! Maybe that's just me, though!

Again, I really enjoyed this! When looking at your art, I keep remembering that saying "a picture is worth a thousand words," and dear lord I do believe they're right! I love what can be expressed without words. All it leaves is truth and perspective, and this beauty that comes from baring all. Good job!
